In 1983, after twenty-five years as a distinguished retailer and manufacturer's representative, Paul Dickinson applied his knowledge and implemented his vision to create Paul Robert. Paul was joined by his wife, Pat and their son, Dan.

The company has had steady growth and now occupies two locations in Taylorsville, North Carolina, the heart of the furniture manufacturing industy. The company has permanent showrooms in High Point, North Carolina and Köln, Germany. Paul Robert's international presence supports a fast growing export business.
